introduction

My Tattoo is a multi-cultural tattoo shop located in Southern California. We specialize in producing a variety of tattoos using both machine and traditional tebori hand style. All My Tattoo artists are taught by generations under the owner of the shop, Jess Yen (Horiyen). We are dedicated to providing you with exceptional body art and customer service.

It is our responsibility to provide you with a safe, clean, and friendly environment to satisfy your desire for tattooing and body piercing. We are all Blood Borne Pathogen Certified Body Art Technicians (blood disease prevention training). We only use brand new, sterile single-use needles for every tattoo and piercing. We use professional grade materials and sterilize all equipment using a three step process in order to ensure you receive a clean and safe body modification.

Grace Young, a talented artist from Art Center in Pasadena, CA, painted this 40"x40" oil painting of Jess Yen (also known as Horiyen). The painting was displayed in the art gallery of Art Center until it was given to Jess' studio in Alhambra CA. Many thanks to Grace Young for choosing Jess as a subject for her artwork. She executes another fine oil painting.

*Here are 10 simple things you can do and how much carbon dioxide you will save doing them*

1. Change a light -Replacing one regular light bulb with a compact fluorescent light will save 150 pounds of carbon dioxide per year.
2. Drive less -Walk, bike, carpool or take metro transit more often. Youˇ¦ll save one pound of carbon dioxide for every mile you didnˇ¦t drive!
3. Recycle more -You can save 2,400 pounds of carbon dioxide per year by recycling just half of your household wastes
4. Check your tires -Keeping you tires inflated properly can improve gas mileage by more than 3%. Every gallon of gasoline saved keeps 20 pounds of carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere
5. Use less hot water -It takes lot of energy to heat water. Use less hot water by installing a low-flow showerhead (350 pounds of CO2 saved per year) and washing your clothes in cold or warm water (500 pounds per year)
6. Avoid products with a lot of packaging -You can save 1,200 pounds of carbon dioxide if you cut down your garbage by 10%.
7. Adjust your thermostat -Moving your thermostat down just 2 degrees in winter and up 2 degrees in summer could save about 2,000 pounds of carbon dioxide per year.
8. Plant a tree -A single tree will absorb one ton of carbon dioxide over its lifetime.
9. Turn off electronic devices -Simply turning off your television, DVD player, stereo, and computer when youˇ¦re not using them will save thousands of pounds of carbon dioxide per year.
